Guess What Day It Is (6/18)




  • Okay, this is the last time I'm going to ask you to guess what day it is.  I work a theater schedule. There is no hump to my week.  On Wednesdays, my week is first getting started.
  • My AMPPW (morning post pee weight) was 128.6, which my friends, is simply a number.  I think I have proven that it truly is what is inside that counts.  I can tell you that my clothes are dripping off of me.  My pants are crawling below my belts.  That is not why I'm doing all of this, but it sure is a lovely perk.  What is becoming abundantly clear is that I have achieved excellent weight maintenance.
  •  And yes . . . that is a real bra instead of a sports bra.  I really don't see the difference between the two.  All around, I am a full coverage girl.

Water Recipes

  • I have been sleeping incredibly well, without the use of pharmaceuticals.  It could be that during the summer I work later and my commute is longer.  Regardless, what I have been doing is forcing myself to stay awake, even if I am beyond tired.  I push it till I can't stay up any longer.  If given the chance to sleep in, if I do not need an alarm clock to wake me, I have been getting eight to ten hours a night.  I'm talking full REM here, dreaming, through the night, and waking up feeling very well rested.  I would love to go an entire month without needing or relying on Ambien.  I am strongly considering weening myself off of the anti-depressant, with assistance from my Organic Herbalist of course.
  • I have been experimenting with various water recipes.  WHAT?!?!  I thought for water you simply need some hydrogen, oxygen, and some sort of bond between them.  After some internet research, I have discovered that you can fuse natural ingredients with your water for flavor and to add some incredible nutrients.  Here are some photos from today's batch, which includes: grapefruit, cucumber, fresh ginger, sage, and whole cloves.  By the way, that's my Bodum tea maker.

  • To Andre, my volunteer partner from Sunday at the Fathers' Day half marathon in Bay Ridge
  • He is a New Utrecht High School graduate
  • And an 8 time finisher of the New York Marathon.
I'm telling you all that no one on planet earth can poor water and Gatorade quite like us.


The first man to cross the finish line was a paraplegic, who completed the race on a hand powered cycle.  He rocked my world.

I Have Allowed It

I have been so far beyond busy, that I have been eating a lot of food which has been prepared by other people.  It is 2am, and I am currently roasting some brussels sprouts to get myself back on track.  I have also allowed my life to interfere with my daily work outs.  Here is my Endomondo summary from the past week:
